United Way Day of Caring 2014
On September 17, 2014 Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center was fortunate to have a wonderful crew of twelve people from Huntington Bank donate a whole day through the United Way Day of Caring to our Giltinen Shelter. They were put to work painting two of the dorms, the kitchen and an area outside. This is the type of work that agencies like RSLC have difficulty finding the time to accomplish. Most of the paint made it onto the walls and it really brightened up the facility. We want to extend our upmost thanks and appreciation to those people who took the time to give back in this way and also to Huntington Bank for allowing them the time out of the office to volunteer. The crew consisted of: John Veazey (Team Leader); Jenny Parsons; Mary Meredith; Terry Campbell; Michelle Chapman; Tegan Easterday; Kelly Woodyard; Rick Whisner; Rob Nelson; Tony Paterno; Sam Femia; and Donna Gordon. THANK YOU!
